Paladin Glyphs Updated for Patch 4.3

 

Each level 85 paladin can use up to 9 Glyphs: 3 primary paladin glyphs, 3 major paladin glyphs and 3 minor glyphs. Below I will list the best glyphs to use for each tree for raiding but I will also list all of the glyphs available for paladins and what they do.

 

Best Prot Paladin Glyphs

Single Target Tanking Glyphs

Primary Glyphs: Seal of Truth, Shield of the Righteous, Crusader Strike or Judgement

Major Glyphs: Holy Wrath, Lay on Hands and for the third it is between:

Ascetic Crusader, Dazing Shield, Divinity or Divine Protection

 

AOE Tanking Glyphs

Primary Glyphs: Hammer of the Righteous, Seal of Truth, Word Of Glory

Major Glyphs: Holy Wrath, Lay on Hands, Consecration

 

Best Holy Paladin Glyphs

Primary Glyphs: Seal of Insight, Holy Shock and for the third you have a choice between Divine Favor or Word of Glory.

Major Glyphs: Glyph of Divinity, Glyph of Divine Plea and for the third you have a choice between Light of Dawn or Divine Protection. Some of the other gyphs are situation at best.

 

Best Retribution Paladin Glyphs

Primary Glyphs: Templar's Verdic, Exorcism, Seal of Truth

Major Glyphs: Ascetic Crusader, Hammer of Wrath, the third choice is between Glyph of Rebuke or Divine Protection

 

Primary Paladin Glyphs:

Increases the critical strike chance of Crusader Strike by 5%.
Increases the duration of Divine Favor by 10 seconds.
Your Exorcism causes an additional 20% of its damage over 6 seconds.
Increases the damage of both the physical and Holy components of Hammer of the Righteous by 10%.
Increases the critical effect chance of Holy Shock by 5%.
Your Judgement deals 10% more damage.
While Seal of Insight is active, the effect of your healing spells is increased by 5%.
Your Seal of Truth and Seal of Righteousness also grant 10 expertise while active.
Increases the damage of Shield of the Righteous by 10%.
Increases the damage of Templar's Verdict by 15%.
Increases the healing done by Word of Glory by 10%.

 

Major Paladin Glyphs:

Your Beacon of Light costs no mana.
Reduces the mana cost of your Cleanse by 20%.
Increases the duration and cooldown of Consecration by 20%.
Your Avenger's Shield now also dazes targets.
Your Divine Plea provides an additional 6% of your total mana.
Removes the physical damage reduction of your Divine Protection, but increases the magical damage reduction by 20%.
When you use Lay on Hands, you also gain 10% of your maximum mana.
Your Avenger's Shield hits 2 fewer targets, but for 30% more damage.
Increases your Hammer of Justice range by 5 yards.
Reduces the mana cost of Hammer of Wrath by 100%.
Your Holy Wrath now also stuns Elementals and Dragonkin.
Reduces the cooldown of your Lay on Hands spell by 3 minutes.
Light of Dawn affects 2 fewer targets, but heals each target for 25% more.
Reduces the mana cost of Rebuke by 100%.
Hand of Salvation no longer permanently reduces threat over time but instead reduces all threat as long as Hand of Salvation lasts.
Reduces the mana cost of your Crusader Strike by 30%.
Your Word of Glory heals for 50% less up front, but provides an additional 50% healing over 6 seconds.
Reduces the casting time of your Turn Evil spell by 100%, but increases the cooldown by 8 seconds.


Minor Paladin Glyphs:

Reduces the mana cost of Blessing of Kings by 50%.
Reduces the mana cost of your Blessing of Might by 50%.
Reduces the mana cost of Seal of Insight by 50%.
Reduces the mana cost of Seal of Justice by 50%.
Reduces the mana cost of Seal of Righteousness by 50%.
Reduces the mana cost of Seal of Truth by 50%.
